Terms and Conditions of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking and receiving services from FarronTech ("We," "Us," or "Our"), you ("Client," or "You") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, we will be unable to perform services.
2. Scope of Service and Authorization
- Authorization: You authorize Us to perform the necessary diagnostic and repair services on your computer hardware and software. You confirm that you are the legal owner of the equipment or have the full authority to consent to the repair.
- Service Type: All services are provided on-site at the Client's home or office, or remotely, as agreed upon during booking. FarronTech primarily focuses on software diagnosis, troubleshooting, removal of malicious programs (malware/viruses), and system optimization.
- Hardware Disclaimer: While We can diagnose potential hardware faults, all repairs are software-based. We do not carry or install physical parts.
3. Pricing, Deposits, and Cancellations
- Flat Rate: All quoted prices are flat rates for the specific service (e.g., Virus Removal, Tune-Up). Any additional services requested on-site will be quoted before execution.
- Service Deposit: A non-refundable $49 deposit is required to secure an on-site appointment. This deposit is fully credited toward the total flat-rate service fee.
- Cancellation: Appointments cancelled by the Client less than 4 hours before the scheduled time will forfeit the $49 deposit. Rescheduled appointments retain the deposit.
4. Data Backup and Confidentiality
- Client Responsibility: FarronTech strongly advises the Client to back up all critical data (photos, documents, financial records) before any service is performed. We are not responsible for any loss of data that may occur during the repair process, including but not limited to, system crashes, reinstallation of the operating system, or hard drive failure.
- Confidentiality: We guarantee the utmost confidentiality regarding any personal or sensitive information stored on your computer. We will not access, copy, or share your data unless explicitly required for the purpose of the contracted repair service (e.g., backing up files during an OS reinstall).
5. 30-Day Service Guarantee
- Coverage: All software-based repair services come with a 30-day limited warranty from the date of service.
- Claim: If the exact same problem reoccurs within 30 days of the original repair, FarronTech will perform corrective labor at no additional charge.
- Exclusions: This guarantee does not cover issues caused by new virus infections, hardware failures, physical damage, or problems unrelated to the original scope of work.
